The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.
Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
